What is Langoor?
Langoor is a browser-based language learning game for French and English. You explore an illustrated neighborhood, type your own replies to AI characters, and complete everyday tasks with help from a language coach.
Which languages can I learn?
You can practice French with coaching in English, or English with coaching in English or Hindi. The learning language is what the characters use; the coaching language is what your helper uses to explain things.
Is Langoor suitable for beginners?
The first adventure uses everyday greetings, food, quantities and polite requests. It is easiest if you already know a few basics. When a sentence is unfamiliar, open its explanation or ask the coach to help you build a reply. There is no timed test or required phrase.
Can I practice speaking or use a microphone?
Langoor currently uses typed conversations. It helps you practice reading, vocabulary and composing replies. Voice input and pronunciation assessment are not available. Pair it with listening and speaking practice when those are your goals.
Is Langoor free to try?
Yes. Each new account receives 10 free AI credits once, with no credit card required. You can explore the world and use free game actions without spending credits. The welcome allowance does not renew when you restart the adventure.
What does one credit cover?
One credit covers one successfully saved AI character reply, new coach answer, sentence explanation or follow-up. Walking, shopping actions and reopening saved explanations are free. Failed replies and cancellations before a reply is saved do not use a credit.
Can I buy credits, and what happens when I run out?
Paid credit packs are coming soon; the prices on this page are a preview. At zero credits, new AI replies pause. Your saved progress and explanations stay available, and you can still explore and use free game actions. There is currently no paid checkout or subscription.
Will I keep my progress?
Your progress, credits and saved sentence explanations stay with your account across visits and devices. Restarting the scenario keeps your credit balance and saved explanations; ordinary saved words belong to the scenario.
How many scenarios are available?
One scenario is playable now: A favor for Mom, a grocery-shopping adventure. A café conversation and Finding your way are planned scenarios. They are not playable yet, and we have not announced release dates.
Does Langoor replace a language course?
Langoor gives you a place to put words into context and practice writing your own replies. It is a supplement to lessons, listening and real conversations, rather than a complete curriculum or a fluency guarantee. AI explanations can occasionally be mistaken.
