In A favor for Mom, you start at home with a shopping list, meet a neighbor, and visit the grocery shop. You practice French greetings, food vocabulary, quantities and polite requests as part of one small story.
You can ask for help, make a mistake, and try another way to say it. Open a character’s sentence for a meaning and breakdown, or ask your English-speaking coach for a little help with your reply.
This is text-based practice. Use it alongside listening, speaking and lessons; it does not assess pronunciation or provide a complete curriculum.

How can I practice French conversation on my own?
Choose a small task, such as buying milk, and write how you would greet the shopkeeper, ask for an item and pay. In Langoor, AI characters respond to your typed French and an English-language coach can explain sentences or help you phrase a reply.
What French can I practice in the game?
The grocery adventure includes greetings, asking for help, food vocabulary, quantities, prices and polite requests. You can try different replies as you move between home, the neighborhood and the grocery shop.
Do I need to speak French out loud?
No. The current game uses text input and written replies. There is no microphone feature or pronunciation scoring. You can read your replies aloud yourself, but the app does not assess your speech.
Is this a French course for complete beginners?
It is guided conversation practice, not a complete French course. A few basic words will help you get started. You can ask the coach in English for meanings, sentence explanations and help composing a reply.
How much does French practice cost?
A new account gets 10 free AI credits once. Each successfully saved character reply or new coach response costs one credit. Movement, shopping actions and reopening saved explanations are free. Paid packs are planned but cannot yet be purchased.
